Call for Submissions by Ethics & Trust in Finance

Are you a young professional or academic interested in ethics, trust and sustainability in finance? Don’t miss your chance to participate in the 10th. edition of the Ethics & Trust in Finance Global Prize!

Seven Pillars Institute is proud to support the USD 15,000 Prize inviting professionals and academics under 35 years of age to submit unpublished contributions on issues related to ethics and trust in finance. Submissions can be in the form of essays (3’000-5’000 words) or in the form of videos (15-20 minutes). In 2025, an international Jury will designate one or more prize winners. The Jury comprises prominent experts (including Dr. Kara Tan Bhala, Seven Pillars Institute’s founding President) in finance and ethics. The Jury will allocate the sum of USD 15,000 between the selected winners. Deadline for submission is 17 March 2025.

The mission of this bi-annual competition is to promote greater awareness among young people globally of the importance of strengthening ethics and integrity in the finance sector, and to accelerate the transition to a sustainable financial system. The Prize also stems from the conviction it is important to stimulate academic debate on the sustainable future of the finance and insurance sectors, based on strong commitment to ethics and integrity.

The Global Prize is now in its 10th Edition. The Geneva-based Observatoire de la Finance administers and organizes the essay competition. The Observatoire believes the issues of ethics and trust in finance have a pivotal role to play in affecting a positive change in an uncertain world. The Observatoire looks forward to exploring bright new ideas from a diverse group of brilliant young people.
